Sequins?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone still use sequins on their traces? I used to use them with a bit of rig tube as a bait stop but i remember people putting bunches of them along with beads to attract fish. Do they really work or do people just use it as a license to buy them with other stranger intentions for them?

Sakuma still have them as a product. I used to sell a lot of them, but these days the holographic attractor blades (silver / gold) are way more popular. One blade trapped between a string of beads is pretty good bling for plaice and gurnards.

If you pm your address to me, I will put a pack in the post to pikey acres. 👍

Do you have the matching cotton for sowing them on?

Nah, you can get that from @Andy135 🤣 ….. and @Saintly Fish will do the sewing

It's true, my little pink tutu keeps shedding sequins with every shimmy and @Saintly Fish is a dab hand with a needle and thread for me.
