No it wouldn't to be truthful, would be nice to get a decent one

My best is nothing memorable, around 7/8lb

The bigger they get the worse they taste I reckon. Good fighting fish but not great to eat. 10lb 8oz my PB.

Yes Andy, I agree it is a good reminder post, however, IMHO the policy is clearly a bow  down to the EU fisheries committee, and the decision is based on some very debatable scientific data ! 🤬

In 50 years of fishing, I have yet to catch a double. Had plenty up to a fraction under 10lb, but never over.
