Andy135 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Borrowed this from a car forum I'm on. One of their members found it in an attic clear out of an elderly uncle who was in the Navy all his working life. See how many Outlaws can find the course and arrival time. suzook12 1 Quote

Hmmm, I think my chances of both plotters failing, and 2 mobile phones failing, is pretty remote ! Many of us can still plot on paper charts, and done properly an EP it is surprisingly accurate when compared to a GPSP. However, how many on here actually carry paper charts ?, I dont even carry a tide atlas anymore. Saintly Fish 1 Quote
suzook12 Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 I'm still waiting for the charts to arrive..... Should be here 2-3 weeks Quote

If I lose 12V supply as I stop and my engines won’t work… It comes to something when the navy don’t carry paper charts but the RYA still insist you do… Don’t get me started on tidal height calculations for secondary ports Edited February 15, 2022 by Odyssey GPSguru 1 Quote

Don't suppose you know what the tide will be at 2.32pm at Burnham Staithe tomorrow per chance? 🤣 Odyssey 1 Quote

Even a tidal atlas is not going to help you with that one. 🙄 Edited February 16, 2022 by GPSguru suzook12 1 Quote

My problem is that I am resistant to most antibiotics, which is a worry. With regard to the chart question, yes it would take me less than 10 mins to plot on the PC. I might look at it later. Quote
