Bazzer Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 This didn’t go well, tide was quite light and wind was taking over, every time we set the hook we drifted a different way !!! any suggestions or don’t bother when it’s like this ? Quote

It's a pain when dropping the pick with a strong wind and small tide. I've never anchored a wreck but doing it for normal down tide fishing is bad enough! Quote
JDP Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 Yes you most certainly can control those conditions. In this diagram you can see how you can move the boat left or right. You can also put a drogue out the back to help hold in the tide. Bazzer, daio web, Maverick and 1 other 2 2 Quote
