Saintly Fish Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 So I ventured out in a grey gloomy morning today, solo again because @Andy135 decided work was more important again. Wind was supposed to be 12-16mph SE. Which would have been just fine, but instead I had 20 mph E, this made for quite a lumpy Solent. I braved it for 4 hours and was kept busy as hell but not with what I wanted. In fact only two species were out playing dogs and snakes. I must have dropped the pick on a snake pit, my tally was 12 dogs and 18 straps. Biggest went 7lb. A dog fish.. Another dog fish... And an eel.. That was it, I went back around 11.30am, filled the diesel tank to the brim, then moored up and spent an hour cleaning the winter scum off the boat. Job done! daio web, mick, JonC and 1 other 4 Quote
