Solent, Saturday 9th November

We got out early. We caught dogs and eels on the ebb and over slack.

Then it went quiet for a bit.

Then it went silly on the flood for 15 minutes...

Then we went home.

 

 

 

And yes, he caught a cod. Won't hear the end of it now...

Funny thing is, I'm smiling because we had not long before made a comment that we had not seen a thornie or undulate for a season or two. Then one turns up!

Yeah, us too. I've been out twice this week and probably caught 30 straps. Also the dogs are back in numbers after being relatively shy this summer!

I would love to, but being retired is hectic and we don't seem to get much time off!

I am in Portsmouth in 2032 if I am still above ground but hopefully I'll be down before then as well
