Popular Post Davemc Posted July 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2021 (edited) I had a reasonable night on the bass even though I had three seals in front of me tonight, All was fine whilst I waded chest deep until the biggest of the three ... Must have been a bull took a liking to my Patchinko ...it was huge and the faster I reeled the bigger the bow wave became and I could see the huge shadow under the surface after a 40 meter chase I lifted the lure skywards from the water a few meters away from me expecting to be no knocked over ! A lucky escape was declared although I almost soiled my waders. That was a strange night. Edited July 16, 2021 by Davemc Adding bits suzook12, Saintly Fish, Bones and 2 others 4 1 Quote
Andy135 Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Wow! Sounds like a close shave there Dave! Glad you escaped to tell the tale. Time for some new waders then? Did you catch anything or did the seals kill the fishing? I once had a seal take a wrasse I had hooked. All of a sudden the wrasse took off like a steam train... except it wasn't the wrasse I was playing. The seal popped its head out of the water about 30 yards away with my wrasse in its mouth. 🤬 Davemc 1 Quote
