Saintly Fish Posted December 12, 2020 Share Posted December 12, 2020 This is one for @240z. Alan, every time I go down to my boat the seal on the sliding door has started to pop out. I slide it back in and carry on. Next time I go the same thing has happened. How do I combat this? Silicone? Or is the seal in need of replacement , it doesn’t leak. 240z Posted December 13, 2020 Share Posted December 13, 2020 Hi mate, the rubber shrinks over time so if you can get it out and take it to the nearest aluminium window manufacturer they can supply new rubber,, it is sometimes worth going up to the next size seal.
