Caught the 7.30am lock out, along with quite a few others

Was first out of the lock and sped off to our mark

Apart from dragging anchor and repositioning twice, we caught the 12.45 lock back in

Quite easily my/our worstest day out on a boat

Not one bite between 8 rods

But I didn't run aground

Not yesterday, but I once felt a bit of resistance going over a sand bank that should've been at least 15ft lower than it actually was

That tends to sharpen one's senses for a bit

The creek into Bradwell marina is fairly narrow, with a few kicks in it. It’s navigable at nearly all states except on the low of spring tides. I’ve only ever gone out in the dark a few times but never on such a dark night and with that little water. Won’t be doing it again in a hurry.
