Popular Post Maverick
After a request from one of my granddaughters who wanted to have a day out on the boat with family and friends we found ourselves going through the 10:30 bridge with the masses. First stop was Studland Bay however it was windier then expected so went back in the harbour. Motored up through blood alley (mid Brownsea Island and Furzey island) and said to the crew it looks nice here but no apparently we had to go up behind Arne to see if Sammy seal was home, nope, not home. It was however full of boats plus still windy with a northerly blowing through so back to blood alley. Dropped the hook in a suitable place and had them jumping all around us..................................grand kids that is jumping off the boat, they had a blast playing loads of water games. It was Phoebe's 12th birthday who had commandeered the boat for her last before teen birthday treat. Boats are great for fishing and entertaining the family. Feeling privileged even though I had caught no fish but did make some loverly memories, lubberly jubberley Tony smith, Saintly Fish, JonC and 5 others 7

Andy135
Sounds like a fun day out that they'll remember forever. Priceless 👍 Maverick
Tony smith
Having a boat is not all about the fishing. There great fun to be had with the family. Had mine nearly two years and the family don’t want to know. So it’s just fishing for me. Took the grandson fishing two weeks ago and he loved it. Sounds like you had a great day 👍 Maverick
Maverick
Good that your grandson enjoyed the fishing trip Tony, its all about memory making plus hopefully you have gained a crew member for life. My boy started fishing with me at 4 years old and still loves it at
Odyssey
Awesome 🙂 It’s not only fishing they are good for. Ive popped over and anchored up off Skomer island before, there are mooring buoys you can pick up and sit there watch the puffins. Or feet up in Warwick bay for a nap in the sunshine 🙂 Chuck in a bit of snorkelling too and it’s great fun 🙂 Also a good way to scrub the bottom of the boat 🤣🤣 Maverick
