I have had Garmin units, followed by Standard Horizon then I had Lowrance and Eagle (re-badged Lowrance) for over 10 years. I switched to a Simrad main plotter about a year ago and just prefer the menu options and use. Lowrance/Eagle were easy enough to use but I never liked the operation of Garmin, although my Garmin units were fairly old so maybe I would find the newer units easier.
