Andy135 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Well I can see you're a man of few words Micky! 🤣 What boat, engine etc? Quote
KennyPowers Posted July 29, 2021 Author Posted July 29, 2021 I automatically thought everyone would know lol, it’s an Arvor 210, has the 2 litre turbo diesel VW, I couldn’t be happier with it, starts and runs on the button, fuel consumption is immense bearing in mind I come from a Smokey two strike 55hp Mariner. Andy135 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Well she definitely looks the part! You must be glad to be on the water after being buggered about by that other dealer/boat with outboard issues. Now you just need to help @JonC catch something other than rays or whiting. Good luck with that! 🤣 Quote

JDP Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Trying to figure out the why the anchor line is leading under the boat. Quote

I did think that but it was the fact the anchor must be very close to those rods fishing out the back stood out, as did the dark shape in the water in front of the boat that looks like burnt drift wood!!!.....apologies, its the photographer in me that checks all within a picture before I send to a publisher. Saintly Fish Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Well if you bunch of meanies are going to pick holes in Micks photo, I’ll put my dig in too/2. Why the hell are the fenders still deployed? Amateur ….. Andy135 and JDP 2 Quote

JDP Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) Ok so the fact the wind isn't blowing the flag towards the anchor was another reason why I picked up on the anchor under the boat. Conclusion is the fenders are over the side as an emergency situation is at hand. The anchor is round the prop from chasing down the fish and running it over during the panic. Not all is lost as the rescue boat with a cameraman is close at hand to save the day. Good fish and good looking boat by the way!!! Edited July 30, 2021 by JDP Saintly Fish and JonC 1 1 Quote
