Popular Post Saintly Fish
Leo and I sneaked out for a few hours today. Ended up at west lepe bouy after in successfully fishing a small wreck just off calshot. The weather was a mixed bag of rain, wind, sun and more wind. Luckily it was north/northwesterly so the water was slight. Until the F’ing Gin palaces turned up at 20knts 30 yards from the boat. W⚓️‘s. Any way we managed 2 dogs and 2 bream. I took peeler crab and not one hound was interested. Leo had a nice double shot.. Then I had a dog, then Leo another small bream. The tide and weed were both fierce, which put the fish off. Still nice to blow some more cobwebs away, not sure I’ve got 2 many left.. Leo then took us for a quick blast home.. Andy135
Always good to get out, and you rustled up a few bonus fish to boot. Top work 👍 Saintly Fish
GPSguru
Excellent, it is just good to get out there, regardless of what you catch. A couple of bream is a very good result. Dogs are just a pain, but they put a good bend in the rod. I might head down to the Skerries tomorrow, the wind is still in the NW /NE sector, so as you say, the sea will be calm to slight.
