@suzook12 who did you use Steve, and why him/her/it?

Cains Customs

 4 reasons....

Absolutely top quality work

He's local (4 miles away)

Best in the country

Sensible prices and sensible turnaround

Did mention this guy before when you were looking to get Leo's rod done, think you caught him when he was going through an acrimonious bust up....... Wll put pics up later

Rods 1Rods 2

Rods 3

You can see the state the original whippings were in. The only rods I've ever know to suffer road rash.... lol.

Still waiting fot the century as having trouble getting hold of the guides. To be fair he did tell me this before I left the rod with him.

So, I had a fuji reel seat fitted, 2 ferrules re whipped as got grazed and 2 rod rings over 4 blanks, price, £54. Turnaround was about 4 weeks, then we all got covid so they been sat there until today......

@suzook12, on Flickr I found that the best way to embed files is to use the Share option, then copy/paste the shortened link, rather than the URL of the page on which you're viewing the image.

Flikr share URL
