I seem to have it sorted, if I copy and paste the link directly into the post it works

I'm nearly as tech savvy as jonc, if I loose a few more of the grey matter, I'll be right up there

Man, you got a long long long way to go to catch him up!!

@Andy135 I'm having trouble uploading images from flckr and amazon pictures

When I copy and paste the image url into the box, when I press post, the box turns red and nothing happens

Any ideas how to help ?

Yes, I think you sorted it already - just paste the URL directly into the post. Don't use the Insert Image from URL option in the Other Media drop-down or the Link icon.

Amazon photos is the easiest, just find your photo, then press the share icon, copy link then paste in this txt box not the "add files" box...

Yeah, but those Amazon links don't seem to support Embedding, so we have to actually click on the links to see the photos rather than the photos showing up as photos in your posts.

Or from a phone, tap on the image in Amazon to open it in full screen, then tap and hold then select Copy Image, then paste it into your post.

By doing that you use up all the site bandwidth much sooner though

Agreed, but it's a better experience for others instead of having them follow a link to his Amazon album.
