Rope knife

I want to keep a knife at the back of the transom just in case the prop gets wrapped in rope. Can anyone recommend a good one?

What sort of knife is that intended to be? Looks like a small hunting knife. Have you used yours specifically on rope and did it handle it ok if so?

I have one of those knives too, but what I really need is a new SJ rod to hang it from. Don’t suppose you have one of those gathering dust on your desk?
