Those who do their own servicing, where do you get rid of your oil ? Here we have an area at the tip where you can take the drums of oil which are collected but Ive never asked where it goes to after that. Never seen any their in pot noodle containers .

We in the uk take environmental issues quite serious now, we are world leaders in green energy and sustainability. I think that Australia likes to come across as an environmentally friendly place but I’m reality they are the worst ranked of all the developed nations.

Like I said already, I tried a few of them back in my student days. Never again.

So yor/your saying that you don’t like a whole range of flavoured meals because you tried some 30 years ago when you was stoned ?

20 years, and I wasn't stoned. And yes, I don't like them.

That wasn't what I asked though. What I asked was why do you like them?

They taste good and they are double convenient.
I don’t understand the negativity about them, as I showed before the other pretentious brands that claim to be healthier and look trendier have little difference in nutrition, they trade salt against sugars etc.

Thats completely true Jon, not only the vehicles and boats we drive but home design is really quite disgusting in terms of thermal values. Many have aircon running all year either in heating mode or cooling mode. Homes are built big, with large windows and high ceilings which get hot in summer and cold in winter so constantly need some sort climate control. We don't have aircon climate control at our place, its more a case of put on warm clothes when needed and take them off when necessary.

There's also the complete opposite side to that too, with totally off grid homes that don't even have the traditional solar but are built from fireproof panels that are also solar, producing enough power from one home to power several neighbouring homes. The wall cavities store rain water and thermo cooling is drawn from underground. As soon as the kids are done with living at home one of these will be our next place hopefully.

Our little Toyota yarris is pretty good on the environmental side and my 4x4 is only used for boat towing, which is normally road trips with three or four other people, which is here or there in terms of flights and car hire etc. My Honda 90 is pretty kind on fuel and range but most people I know have the big f350 fords and boats of around 4tons with mega power on the back. Haven't done one of my trips away with the boat for 3yrs now. My 4x4 is also my mobile home which sleeps 3 and totally runs on solar for the freezer and camp lights and powering small electrical items.

Hopefully we can elect a government that's not so intent on coal and oil so we can change where we sit worldwide in the near future.

I wasn’t blaming you personally Jon!🤣

To answer your question, about where it goes from the waste oil tank  onwards I have no idea. I recon that the fairies take it somewhere.
