Ok so just about to set off. It’s chucking down with rain and 40mph winds. I must be mad.
got my AFAW estuary rod mk2 ready and a small travel rod stand.
it’s one rod roaming with  rag worm on a basic running ledger. What could possibly go wrong? 69E0EE16-2966-4AC1-B234-376BFB443F7F.jpeg.ba81b35ea124117c5dff5d52c75d6055.jpeg

Well, at least the thunderstorms that were forecast seem to have dissipated 🌩🌩

Which just leaves falling trees and flash flooding I suppose, so don't forget your hard hat and your snorkel 👍👍😁

Rain should stop by 7pm. That’ll give me and my gear plenty of time to get soaked.

I  think you are right Neil, I too think you must be mad, and dragging Leo through it too. Good luck, I can imagine you both "floundeting". Geoff.

I reckon you are right Andy, but my reason (excuse) is that Joyce is watching the TV and will not allow me to have the lights on, but be fair, at least the R is adjacent to the T, so pretty close for me! Geoff.

@GeoffLeo chose to stay home and watch movies with mummy and the dog. I’m the only mad one. Having said that the spot is sheltered from the wind and the rain has stopped..... for now!!

I can see that Leo is not as daft as You look. Geoff. Glad the rain has stopped. G.

Pffft! You've used that excuse once before Geoff. I'm not buying it! 😉

Besides, you do have lights in other rooms... right??

Ok so, it’s not big and it’s not a flounder. But it has saved a blank.

I'm saying this through gritted teeth but well done. I was so hoping for you to blank two nights in a row 🤣👍

Well played despite the outcome. Kudos for getting out there in shit weather 👍

It was actually a real pleasant evening after 7pm. I think too much fresh water washed into the river though
