Scaffolders arriving this morning (already late, typical) to put up the scaffold around the front of our house ready for a front loft conversion. We did the back around 10 years ago but never got the permission to do the front. Now we have so let the fun begin...

Good luck with the works Neil, how long do you think it will take? I am not surprised the scaffolders were a bit late - I understand that is the norm for the breed!  Geoff.

Thanks Geoff. The builder reckons 3-4 weeks to get it ready to plaster.

Possibly Martin. They did turn up at 8.30 and stayed for 5 hours. Just the two of them and did a good job.

No need. Builder is doing it in stages. Build over the top, then dismantle the old.
