Popular Post Saintly Fish
I took Leo and his cousin Harry out on Tarlach Too yesterday at 08.30, we fished the western area of the Solent between Cowes and Newtown creek. A proper good session was had, it resulted in 4 codling 2.5, 3.5 and two at 4.5lb. 3 X small bull huss and a conger eel. It's only the second time Harry has joined us and he had a wonderful day with plenty of belly laughs and memories made. He is 16 soon but looks and acts like a 12 year old, so he and Leo get on famously. Apparently he was asleep within 5 mins of my sister collecting him! On the way back we got flagged down by 3 guys in an old rib, their engine had packed up and we had to tow them slowly back to Warsash at 6 knots. I hope you had your card reader on board and hadn’t left it in the van. Nothing worse than watching them going through their empty wallets pretending the don’t have your fees. No such luck, all I got was a muffled fanks as they shoved me off the side of the ratty old commercial clamer I'd pulled alongside. 🙄
Geoff
Well done to all of you, sounds like a great day out. Well done for the rescue, but I reckon that rib is about to overtake you if you are only doing 6 knots. Geoff.

Looks like an old SIB ? You did the right thing, and let us hope they learnt from it 🙄 Good job on the codling, there seems to be a few about, I will put up my Saturday report later. Andy135
Well done. You did the right thing whatever anyone says about you. After all, letting the next generation catch all the cod is what it's all about! 🤣👍 Saintly Fish

You take them, you anchor, you supply the bait, the equipment etc then you let them "catch" the cod!! 🤷🏻♂️ GPSguru and jonnyswamp
