captin slows old outlaw Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 (edited) i will be taking it to the garage before youse. i will do a road check first, ie braking ect then feule then to fawley garage. i dont think it would pass a mot for it youse led additive in the feule, plus many aditional rules . frankley at this age a reguler check up would be addviseable Edited January 3 by captin slows old outlaw Andy135, Saintly Fish, Geoff and 1 other 3 1 Quote
Geoff Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Whilst the older vehicle do not need need MOT, they must of course be roadworthy, so it is worth considering asking your local garage it they will inspect the vehicle and issue a condition report or certificate of roadworthiness. I know that you are well aware that generally "older is better". Good luck Pete. Geoff. Quote

suzook12 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I currently have 2 bikes MOT and tax exempt. Both have been getting a thorough going over, making sure everything is as it should be or better. Am tempted to take the indicators off, as not a legal requirement before 1986. Have my black and white reg plates too....... And the baffles are ermmm somewhat lacking, especially on the harley......
