Great weather weekend

I am going down the boat Friday night fishing all weekend. Might stay out Saturday night weather is spot on for it.

Not sure what we are targeting yet 

few beers on the boat and a chat with my mate might get a plan together. 
smoothound and plaice seems a good bet 

but if the mackerel play ball it might change 

didn’t look at the tides low water about now 

so can’t get the boat over to the pontoon in the daylight 🥴lets hope for a good session  lads 👍🎣👍

Hi lads  

still out on the boat around Stoke Bay at the moment 

can’t believe how slow it is today 

my mate caught I dogfish 

I have blanked so far not even a doggie. 
Left Hardway at 6-30am

till now dead as a dodo. 
we will keep going till about 2am 

 Tried Hayling Bay, Blocks, Stokes Bay

tomorrow we will go out the Nab area

The sea temp is cold and there is also a lot of inshore bloom about. Most of this month fishing has been very patchy, even out on the wrecks

Today is the first time this year that our local sea temp has risen over 10C (10.7 at 6:00pm this evening). The rise in sea temp will soon see the summer species arrive in numbers.

went back to Hardway at 2-30am 

with just one dogfish 

poor show for a 20 hour session 

but will do a report tomorrow as I am shattered 

but let’s just say the next day at the Nab produced a nice fish
