Transom plate seal

Hi everyone just thought I would share what happened to me so hopefully it doesn’t happen to anyone else, fitted new Volvo twin prop leg, but didn’t change the transom seal, wasn’t picked up on survey and sank, oopps £18000 damage gutted

Was it definitely the transom seal, or failed u joint bellows

No write off, not all bad though just bought arvor 210 with insurance pay out which I love 👍👍

Yeah Cardiff bay,insurance company had surveyor out and he said transom seal failed and should have been changed with leg, had bellows changed same time as leg👍

Yeah he’s been really helpful got full service kit off him, I changed the O rings and give the internals an acid bath came up like new cheers👍

I go for mixed myself, but I have a preference for toffee....
