Forecast was poor with winds gusting to 40+ knt and rain but being from the south we had some protection from the land. First drop I had a cracking bite and after a few minutes and the fish staying deep, taking me all round the boat a nice unicorn broke surface. Dan swiftly netted it and at 12-6 I was well chuffed. Unfortunately it was downhill from there with just a few small thornies, straps and a single whiting and doggie landed by the crew Fairly play to Dan the skipper we had 4 moves trying to find a few more fish and on the last Mark I found a codling around 4lb so happy days.
