Hello from a newbie .

 I own a Predator 160 and take it up to Oban Scotland once a year for a weeks fishing (mostly pollock).I worked in the aerospace industry and thanks to the covid pandemic have taken early retirement. So hopefully when and if we get back to normal with no restrictions I can do a lot more fishing.

No its a Focus estate ecoboost , had a Focus st170 before which I found to be better for towing as it had more low down  torque.

Andy , the only other place I've fished is out of Dartmouth . Living near Nottingham I always had to have a weeks holiday and trailer the boat there.

Would like to try the North East for a bit of cod fishing.

Hi Chris - Dartmouth is a lovely place to fish. Years ago I kept a small boat upriver and would fish the mouth of the Dart for bass and pollack. Never managed to venture as far as the Skerries though, which I regret now.

That's an impressive beast in your profile pic. Salmon?

Andy , Yes Chum salmon , used to go to Canada and Alaska salmon , sturgeon and Halibut fishing.

Have also been to Iceland for cod , Spain for catfish and Florida for Goliath grouper .

Now I have a Arvor 230 and it’s to big to tow 

Missing the trips away with the boat.
