Wondering if, at 2.7m, I can claim the title of smallest boat on here? I will post a pic on the relevant thread. So, I used to live near Milton Keynes with a place in France by the Med near the Spanish border. Having retired fairly recently, last year we moved to North Wales, because MK is way too far from the sea. I took up bass fishing with lures. Important to confess it is fishing far more than catching, but enjoying the learning curve. Missing my boat and with a slipway 100m from home, I had to find a way onto the water. There's some lovely coastline around there, and good fishing too. @Plaicehunter is a boat bass lure afficionado - I'm sure he'll be along to share some tips & tricks. What boat do you have? Agreed, finding that I am much, much braver than on a my bigger boat when it comes to getting close in to the rocks.
