I'll be out Saturday,  haven't decided where yet with these big tides

Any suggestions luke

I’d be tempted with Foreland point for bass or drift Nash bank for bass.

Upper channel be full of weed/crap

I’m off to Celtic deeps 🙂

Going to be a bit lumpy maybe but hopefully fishable, day on land (Saturday) back out there on Sunday and then reefing Monday

Unfortunately I am way too ill to go out at the moment with another flare up of Colitis. However, I have had a load of test this week to put me on a Biologic drug which I would need to inject every 2 weeks. The tests were loads of blood tests for Hepatitis, chicken pox, & Measles antibodies, Also more blood taken to test whether I have ever had TB and that I am a not a TB carrier, and other tests, including xrays, to ensure that I am not a Hepatitis carrier.

I should know all the results next week. The initial dose is interesting, it is injected in the stomach and the initial dose is 4 syringes injected simultaneously !

Unfortunately with this stuff, it is an immunosuppressant, so going forward I will have almost zero immunity, which might mean some lifestyle changes, and certainly carries a huge element of risk, but right now I am willing to take the risk.

Where will you go Scott.? I’m thinking south of the needles, but will be punching against the tide to get there.

I'll be heading Pullar way.  Was keeping an eye to see if weather was going to be good enough to head to the Overfalls but I'm not too keen on the Easterly 16mph gusts

Sorry to hear that Ian. Doesn't sound very pleasant at all. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Thanks Andy. I had it planned to go out this morning and come back in on the ebb, but at the moment I am running a temp of 38.7c !

Hope you get it sorted soon 👍

Hope you improve soon Ian.

i'm hoping to get out on the channel Sunday and Monday

If I can make some improvement, then I guess we might be out on Monday.

It would have to be an early start as there are already a lot of crockles about ..........

Well, it looks like I'll be out this weekend after all! I had two viewings of Apache lined up for the weekend but both of them turned out to be time-wasters. I'm really interested in your boat mate, we're serious buyers mate... blah, blah, blah.

The silver lining is that I now have a more flexible weekend and have been invited to crew on Tarlach Too with @Saintly Fish🥳🥳

I know that at least one of them made a very generous offer

He wasn't from FAFB, he was the FB random that wanted to transfer thousands to my bank account without even seeing the boat... what could possibly go wrong with that...?? 🤣

Well, the screening was successful and I start the drug on Thursday.
The screen threw up an odd one, I have had glandular fever within the last 10 years 🤭, also I have never had covid 👍 and although I look like a badger, I am not a TB carrier 🤣

Good news then. Well done Brock.
