Remember smaller trailed boats can have several advantage over boats that remain on pontoons/moorings. Would assume the mainland side beaches to be the top side (north side). Funny coming from the IOW I've not heard that term of top end before when fishing anywhere in the solent. It’s not great fishing which is why I’m looking for a proper fishing boat, currently fishing from a dinghy or going out on day charters.
